Atelier Nova was born from one belief: a well-designed, well-built piece never needs replacing.
Few pieces, for a long time
The catalogue holds twenty-four pieces. Each stays in production as long as it can be repaired: we keep the jigs and drawings of every batch.
A short supply chain
Wood comes from three French forests, linen from Normandy and brass from a Lyon foundry. No supplier is more than 600 km from the workshop.
Six materials, not one more
A dense wood with a pronounced grain, air-dried for three years before reaching the workshop.
Care : Dust with a dry cloth. Oil once a year with a clear hardwax oil.
Hand-thrown stoneware with matte glazes mixed in the studio.
Care : Hand wash recommended.
Flexible and bright, ash is ideal for steam bending and light seating.
Care : Clean with soapy water and dry immediately.
Unlacquered brass that develops a patina with time and touch.
Care : Let it age, or polish with a cloth and whiting.
Woven in Normandy and washed for a soft hand from day one.
Care : Removable covers, machine wash at 30 °C.
Deep brown with a silky grain: walnut is kept for our most precious pieces.
Care : Avoid direct sunlight. Wax twice a year.
